Peripheral Yantra was created after I studied the construction of a yantra, a geometric device of devotion where each shape links to the Tantric philosophy of how the union of female and male energies creates everything, on every layer of the universe.

While traditional yantras have a specific devotional purpose, this drawing only comes close to becoming one through the focus required to fill it with intricate lines. The device sits on the periphery of a much larger, unseen radiant form, which emulates how I feel every time I approach this vast subject.
